Coffee Roast Logging & Weekly Production Tracking

Record the production information that connects green inventory to finished coffee costs. BeanCounter tracks batches, output and labor, then groups your logged production into weekly breakdowns. Review green coffee used, roasted output and roast loss before checking the linked assumptions in Pricing studio.

What you can do: Roast log

  • Roast date, coffee lot, green input, roasted output, labor minutes and notes.
  • A whole-number batch quantity for repeated batches with matching inputs.
  • Automatic stock deductions and production assumptions linked to pricing.
  • Monday–Sunday summaries, each coffee’s percentage of weekly roasted output and CSV export.

The batch multiplier assumes every batch has the same input, output and labor time. Log batches separately when those values differ. This is a production record, not a live roast-curve or roaster-control system.

Quick tutorial: Roast log

  1. Choose the coffee

Open Roast log, choose Log a roast and select a lot with enough available green coffee.

  2. Enter one batch

Choose a date and weight unit. Enter the green input, roasted output and labor minutes for a single batch.

  3. Set the batch quantity

Use 1 for one roast or a larger whole number for matching batches. Review the multiplied green, roasted and labor totals before saving.

  4. Review your production

Save the roast to deduct stock. Expand a week in the Roast data sheet to review coffee shares and batch records, or choose Download CSV. Retail and wholesale coffee pricing guide.
