BLEND CALCULATOR

Coffee Blend Ratio Calculator & Saved Recipes

Turn a recipe such as 2:1 into a practical weight breakdown. Choose coffees from your inventory, set the blend’s total weight and save a named recipe for use in pricing.

What you can do: Blend calculator

  • Up to four distinct inventory coffees with whole-number ratio parts.
  • Independent lb/kg blend units and a total required blend weight.
  • Pre-roast green or post-roast roasted blend basis.
  • Saved recipes linked to component costs and retail or wholesale pricing.

The calculator plans proportions; saving a recipe does not deduct inventory or log a roast. Use the correct green/roasted basis so the component roast-loss assumptions are applied appropriately in pricing.

Quick tutorial: Blend calculator

  1. Choose the blend basis

Open Blend calculator, name the recipe and choose green coffee before roasting or roasted coffee after roasting.

  2. Set the total and ratios

Choose lb or kg, enter the total weight and select up to four coffees. Enter positive whole-number parts for included coffees; zero leaves a slot out.

  3. Check the breakdown

Review each coffee’s share and required weight. A 10 lb blend at 2:1 uses approximately 6.667 lb of the first coffee and 3.333 lb of the second.

  4. Save and price the recipe

Choose Save blend. Open Pricing studio to use that saved blend in retail or wholesale calculations, or review its linked costs in Blend Pricing. Retail and wholesale coffee pricing guide.
